The Oil:
Our Beard Oil formula is made of natural, quality rich oils that help moisturize your skin and soften your beard. If there's one product a bearded man should use daily, it is beard oil. Make sure to read the "How to use" and "Safety" sections.
The Scent:
With Islander, we wanted to create a fresh scent that is not traditional. We started with a blend of Citrus essential oils for the top notes, and middle notes of Pinyon Pine to bridge the Citrus with the base notes of Vetiver. Adding some Neroli and a touch of Jasmine to smooth out this invigorating scent.
All our scents are created in house using essential oils, absolutes and isolates extracted from nature. Do not smell the scent out of the bottle. The scent is made of notes that are meant to diffuse and reveal in layers, so you must smell it off your beard.
Warning: Our scents are made from essential oils, absolutes and isolates that may contain allergens or irritants. Before using any of our products you must do a skin patch test first. Consult with a medical professional on how to properly perform a skin patch test.
On a clean slightly damp beard, use 2-4 drops of beard oil and apply on the skin under the beard and coat the beard hairs. If after 30 minutes you feel your beard is oily, then you used too much oil. It will take a few tries to get the right amount depending on your beard's length and hair/skin type.
